-I got really into Guild Wars 2.
-I am less into robots these days so the Stunticon/Constructicon communities may stay...a little dead for a while, sorry.
-I went on the right brain meds, thanks to sertraline I can now do my PR job without freaking out.
-Turns out quetiapine was making me, really, really unwell folks. I suspect it was the cause of a lot of my mental health issues over the years.
-I am now having therapy and it is with a good therapist and is working.
-I am now head of PR at the charity I work at.
-I haven't written fic in a while, I do wanna get back into it but now I'm not into TF as much it's harder.
-Now social media is my job I am on social media in my spare time way less.
-I am 27 the week after next and it is weird to think I am gonna be 30 in 3 years time.

I love the way this site works but I'm busy with actual work and long form posting takes effort.

And you don't want to write lots of text when your job involves writing lots of text. XP

Sadly this also includes fanfic, I do not feel like writing when I've been looking at my bloody laptop all day. Which is frustrating because I have ideas! I have fic to be getting on with!

But work pays the bills and money can be exchanged for sushi. XP

Plot bunny. Ravage is so pissed off about mechs being weird about the idea of her having sex because she's a beastformer she makes a porn video.

In it, she does pet play with a humanoid mech as the 'pet'. Making a point of talking about how such a creature couldn't possibly be sapient; it has no claws for fine motor skills, nor whiskers to sense its surroundings with and primitive olfactory sensors.

(Rumble + Frenzy do the recording, Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw handle lighting and Soundwave is the pet.)

Anthropomorphic realistic vehicle fandom?

So, as well as vehicle that turn into robots, I like anthropomorphic vehicles. But realistic ones, not ones with faces.

Think Killdozer, Maximum Overdrive/Trucks or Christine. I'm still working on expanding my list of films/books with this concept, let me know if you know anymore!

So far, I've only met one of other fan of this specific genre of anthropomorphic vehicles. It seems to be a smaller fandom compared to media with vehicles with more human features.

Anyway, I spent some of this day before 2023 watching the cinematic masterpiece that is Killdozer. XD

New journal style

Made a new journal style today, had wanted to do this for a while. I've kept the old style saved in case I need the code again.

Looks like mobile responsiveness is coded in so I don't have to do much on that front. May fiddle a little more but it's looking good!

EDIT: made links more readable colour wise. Still fiddling with colours and such.

How to re think my 'long fics'

So I realised why Finery and Road to Darkmount weren't working for me thanks to rubber ducking on discord and tumblr.

I don't think I'll touch RtD or Finery for a while. I kept editing them while published on Ao2 to 'reboot' the fics while never getting closer to finishing them. I actually deleted both because having them on Ao3 never to be completed was stressing me out. If anyone wants to have copies I can send .OTD documents your way.

I think I'll convert them to a single much smaller fic that distils down the themes and scenes I want to focus on. Or a series of short fics like Little Copters. But when I'm ready.

But for now, I'll look at that 'Motormaster gets less fucked up' fic or 'bucket' as one shots or a shorter fic. Just something I can manage that won't stress me.

Also I'm gonna make more little Vortex's because the contemplative one isn't thinking hard enough lol.

I am getting a lot better at this! Not having to think where I put my fingers makes me type way faster unsurprisingly.

I still mix up some keys but I know where my fingers are aiming for the most part. :D

Fic commissons!

An update on my situation. I now have some money coming in but it isn’t quite enough for me to be 100% financially secure. I can’t get any money from my government in terms of disability or unemployment.

I live at home, but my parents can only afford my basic needs due to the cost of living crisis. I need to pay for my cars fuel/insurance and for public transport as I’m learning to drive. I may also have to start paying for medication.

In short, I need a bit extra for the next few months.

£20 per 500 words, or the current exchange rate worth of £20 in your currency. As the pounds value has fallen my prices may be cheaper than you expect!

I will write up to 3000 words. I won’t charge extra for going slightly over word count but I will always reach it.
